The concept is simple: bring a copy of your favourite pukapuka and get ready to be its biggest advocate. You have 1 minute per person to get them hooked on the premise of the story. Is your book fiction or non-fiction? Poetry or sci-fi? Memoir or graphic novel? All types of stories are welcome. Come along and meet your fellow booklovers!

We’ve asked a shining circle of poets to read poems they’ve written about something golden, and to select favourite golden oldies to share, like ‘The Song of Wandering Aengus’ by W B Yeats (which gives us the title of this event). Come and bask in the sunshine of Fiona Kidman, Tusiata Avia, Francis Aschoff, Keith Westwater, Jordan Hamel & Mary McCallum.
