Book Speed-Dating Event at Aurelia Books

Welcome to the first event at Aurelia Books!

When you're passionate about that one particular story, you want everyone you know to read it as well. But, what about a stranger – aka, a new potential friend?

The concept is simple: bring a copy of your favourite pukapuka and get ready to be its biggest advocate. You have 1 minute per person to get them hooked on the premise of the story. Is your book fiction or non-fiction? Poetry or sci-fi? Memoir or graphic novel? All types of stories are welcome.

Your ticket includes (asides from a great time) a drink of your choice and nibbles. Come along and meet your fellow booklovers!

This is an alcohol-free event and spaces are limited to 20 people.
